It is not a book about what is wrong with the world. It is a book about what is right with being born female.

I think many of you will understand exactly why I wrote it.

Watch the Read-Aloud

If you’d like a sense of the book before you buy it, I’ve recorded a short read-aloud video that you can watch here. My husband Joe filmed this video with one take, and the raw emotion that I felt reading this story could not be concealed:

It’s about 10 minutes, so pour a coffee, gather any little ones who happen to be nearby, and enjoy.

A Few Ways You Can Help

Indie books live or die by word of mouth in the first few weeks. If this book resonates with you, the most powerful things you can do are:

• Share the read-aloud video with one or two friends who would appreciate it.

• Leave a short review on Amazon once you’ve read it. Even two sentences make an enormous difference.

• Buy a copy as a Mother’s Day or baby-girl shower gift because both moms and daughters will love this book!

Thank you for staying with me, for the messages, for the prayers, support, and encouragement over the most difficult season of my life. None of this would have been possible without you, because none of us can win without having a great team behind us.

With love and gratitude,

Carolyn
